Flat-rate means the quote we give you over the phone is the quote you pay — delivery, pickup and disposal for the agreed weight and rental period are included. The only things that change a quote after the fact are going significantly over the weight limit for your size or keeping the dumpster well past the agreed rental window, both of which we’ll flag with you directly rather than surprise you with on an invoice.

We’ll walk you through payment details when you call to book. In general, expect to provide payment information at the time of scheduling so we can lock in your delivery window — ask our team about specific deposit and payment options for your project when you call.

Same-day or next-day delivery is often available depending on our route schedule that week, especially for standard sizes like a 20-yard. For weekend deliveries, larger sizes, or jobs tied to a tight demolition or roofing schedule, booking a few days ahead gives us more flexibility to hit the exact time you need. We accept standard payment methods for both residential and commercial customers. If you’re booking for a commercial or repeat-account job, ask about invoicing options when you call — our office can set that up during the booking call.

Most single-room or garage cleanouts fit comfortably in a 10-yard or 15-yard dumpster. If you’re clearing an entire house — garage, basement and attic together, or an estate cleanout — a 20-yard is usually the safer call so you’re not paying for a second haul. Both share the same 22 ft by 7.5 ft footprint, but the 30-yard stands taller at 6 ft versus 4.5 ft on the 20-yard, holding roughly 9 pickup-truck loads compared to about 6. The 30-yard is the standard choice for whole-home renovations, roof tear-offs on larger homes, and new construction debris; the 20-yard covers most single-room remodels and mid-size cleanouts. Both have the same footprint on your driveway, just different height.

Yes — every size has a tonnage allowance built into its flat rate, ranging from roughly 1–2 tons on a 10-yard up to 5–6 tons on a 40-yard. Dense material like concrete, brick, dirt or shingles adds weight fast without filling much visible space, so those jobs often call for a smaller box rated for heavier loads rather than the biggest container available. Tell us the material type when you book so we can recommend the right size for the weight, not just the volume.

Placement entirely on your own driveway or private property typically does not require a permit. If the dumpster needs to sit on the street or any public right-of-way, confirm requirements with the City of Springfield’s Permits office directly before delivery day, since we don’t control city permitting and specific fees or timelines can change.

Sometimes, but street or right-of-way placement generally needs sign-off from the city first, and lead time can vary, so it’s worth checking with the City of Springfield Permits office as early as possible if your driveway can’t fit the container. Driveway or yard placement on your own property is the simpler path when it’s an option.

Our drivers are careful about placement and use protective boards under the container’s contact points on paved surfaces when needed. Concrete and asphalt in good condition generally hold up fine under a properly placed container; if you’re concerned about an older or cracked driveway, mention it when you book and we’ll talk through placement options, including setting the container on a gravel or grass area instead.

Greene County sits on the Springfield Plateau over shallow limestone and dolomite bedrock, with documented karst and sinkhole activity confirmed by a county-specific geological study. This mostly matters for excavation and drainage planning rather than dumpster placement itself, but if you know of a soft spot, depression, or known sinkhole area on your property, point it out when we schedule delivery so the driver can choose solid, level ground nearby.

Standard prohibited items include tires, batteries, paint and other liquids, propane tanks, fuel, motor oil, asbestos-containing material, medical waste and any hazardous or flammable chemicals. If you’re not sure whether something is allowed, ask before it goes in the container — sorting it out after pickup costs everyone time.

Large appliances are generally fine in most of our containers — ask when you book if your project includes several. Electronics are a different story: there’s no statewide Missouri law banning e-waste from general disposal, but we still recommend routing TVs, computers and similar electronics to a certified electronics recycler rather than the dumpster. Missouri DNR’s electronics-recycling resources can point you to a certified option near Springfield.

Yes, in most cases you can mix general construction debris — drywall, framing lumber, flooring, trim — with household junk in the same container. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, block and dirt are the exception; those are dense enough that they’re usually better suited to a dedicated load in a smaller box rated for the weight. Debris is hauled to licensed Missouri disposal and recycling facilities, with recoverable material like scrap metal, cardboard and clean concrete routed to recycling where it’s practical rather than straight to a landfill. We’re not a sorting facility ourselves — the disposal happens downstream, through licensed operators.

Clear a space roughly the length and width of the container (see the dimensions on each size page), with enough overhead clearance for a truck to tip the box into place, and let us know about any low branches, gate widths or slope on the placement spot when you book. Beyond that, just be reachable by phone in case the driver needs to confirm exact placement on arrival.
